Bikes best suited for tours are Dual Sport motorcycles in the 650cc and smaller range. Routes for larger Adventure Touring bikes can be arranged with sufficient group sizes. Dual sport bikes should be equipped with tires of at least the stock dual sport configuration, D.O.T. knobbies are better but not absolutely necessary. On days when the trails get really muddy, we will stick to the harder packed forest roads to prevent damage to delicate forest trails. |
